Numbers terrified me until I realised they could be used to solve practical problems.

I hated maths and tried to avoid it at university by studying business instead.

But I fell in love with statistics after seeing how it could be used to solve practical problems.

I went on to do a PhD to understand human behaviour using statistics.

I’m one of the few people in the world trained in both behavioural science and statistics at the PhD level.

I’ve extended my expertise to deliver impactful business results with data science, as both a lead and individual contributor.

I’m also a technical leader who continues to code (Python, R, SQL) and speak at leading scientific conferences.

I’ve been recognised as a Global Talent by the UK government.
